NG8019 : Glenelg War Memorial - Detail
The memorial is a bronze group featuring a Highland soldier being garlanded by a winged 'Victory'. It was the work of Louis Reid Deuchars (

), commissioned by Sir Robert Lorimer (

) who himself fashioned the pedestal and the WW1 plaque.
