L&NWR Boundary marker, Glasson Dock
The London & North Western Railway owned the Lancaster Canal, including the Glasson branch, but the dock was under the jurisdiction of the Lancaster Port Commissioners. To mark the property boundary between the two concerns, the railway company laid this plate on the ground near the south-eastern corner of the dock.
