The centre of Ireland?
The centre of Ireland?
Athlone is considered to be the town closest to the centre of Ireland, or the ancient site of Clonmacnoise a few miles to the south. But this website LinkExternal link says it is 3km south of Athlone town centre, on the Roscommon side of the Shannon, which puts it about here. A typical Irish derelict cottage seems appropriate.
