Cheylesmore Manor gatehouse, Manor House Drive
The only surviving part of Cheylesmore Manor, a royal property from the 1300s to 1819. Different parts of the building are dated from the 14th to 16th century. It was restored and extended during a 1960s conversion to its present use as the Registry Office. The building on the extreme right is the back of the offices on New Union Street.
