Stile on Hadrian's Wall National Trail
Stile on Hadrian's Wall National Trail
Hadrians Wall National Trail runs 84 miles from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend.
LinkExternal link This section runs on a fenced-off path, closely parallel to the minor road from Banks to Birdoswald. The road carries Hadrian's Cycleway. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) The stile is of good design, with broad stone steps and a half gate at the top - others stiles along the trail are not nearly so user-friendly.
