taken 17 years ago, near to Halifax, Calderdale, England

Whiskham Bank, Halifax
Whiskham Bank, Halifax
At the junction with Old Bank, and sometimes spelt 'Whiscombe'. It runs through woodland now, but there used to be many little cottages. This lane led to Horsfield's Buildings, a row of five through cottages. It was also the ancient road to Wakefield.
