St Thomas the Apostle Church, Claremount Road, Halifax
This used to be called St Thomas Street. The church was built in 1861 and serves a parish comprising Claremount and Charlestown (the latter was an area of high-density back to-back houses on the hillside north and south of the main road). St Annes-in-the-Grove Church at Southowram is a sister church, and the vicar lives there. He has the title 'Fr' and the style of worship is given on their website as 'Traditional Catholic'.
