Forest Harvester (set of 2 images)

I would love to have gone closer to watch this machine at work, but I expect I would have been unwelcome. It clasps the bottom of a tree, cuts in across, then runs it through its claw to remove brash and bark, then cuts it to the required length and stacks it with others waiting to be taken away. A bit of internet research suggests that one of these, new, would set you back about £400,000, though there seems to be a lively market for used ones at lower prices.
