This yearly event kicked off at Bridge street and Abbey Close on Wednesday 25th January 2017.
Around 80 vintage cars were waved off by Paisley's Lord Provost Annie Hall as large crowds cheered the drivers away. This year we were lucky to see all cars leave though one did stutter at the starting line, but soon shot off.
These are the timings when the cars departed.
4.00pm - entertainment starts (see the Paisley 2021 website for details)
5,15pm - Car 00 leaves (no pyrotechnics)
5.45pm - the Paisley 2021 car leaves (with pyrotechnics)
5.55pm - Car 0 leaves (with pyrotechnics)
6.00pm - competitor cars start to leave (at one-minute intervals thereafter)
