Our children could now see the point!! We were staying at Garramore SYHA and decided to walk along the beach southwards to the next railway station. No idea that filming for Local Hero was going on. My 1:25000 map showed no church - odd I thought!!text/html2019-07-07T12:43:00+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill56.958993 -5.846163NM6691 : Local Hero Graveyard

He really didn't believe it! No church on his map and definitely no graveyard.
Everything was expanded polystyrene! Only when we pointed to the church (Local Hero Church) did he get the message!text/html2019-07-07T12:37:49+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill56.957189 -5.849269NM6691 : Still no Fulton Mackay!

This was May 1982 and there were 2 caravans (yes - just 2) on the forestry campsite at Carie. This is one of the views that made the climb worthwhile!!text/html2019-07-06T22:58:37+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill56.679013 -4.228799NN6356 : Cairn on Meall Druidhe

This image of the cairn has been uploaded as no-one else appears to have bothered climbing this great viewpoint. It is a bit old!! My 44yr old son was 7 at the time we climbed up here - but the views over Loch Rannoch are superb!text/html2019-07-06T22:52:52+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill56.679936 -4.262322NN6156 : More Hydro Power

We have used Kilvrecht campsite since 1978. It is a great location with minimal facilities. This looks like the beginning of the end! There is even a power pole outside the toilet block now. What's next - hot water...?text/html2019-07-06T22:44:04+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill56.683397 -4.259754NN6156 : Old Bridge over Carie Burn

This is the original steel bridge that spanned the burn from the late 1970s. It weathered a lot better than the modern covered one!!text/html2018-10-08T12:08:27+00:00https://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/127146Martin Cantrill58.071460 -3.992770NC8210 : That's not a lock - this is a lock!

I've seen multi-locks before but never one with as many as this example. On the entrance gate to Gordonbush 1 wind farm
