Capitol Car Park, Newport – demolition

This 1960's built car park in the centre of Newport was demolished on 12th January 2014 in preparation of the site for the Friars Walk retail and leisure scheme.
35Kg of explosives were detonated and the building collapsed in 6 seconds.
