Airbus Industrie A380 wings

The Airbus Industrie A380 is so large that individual parts are built all over the world. LinkExternal link Improved_A380-800 The wings are built at the Broughton factory and have to be transported to Toulouse by water. One A380 wing at a time is transported on a special vehicle the short distance from the factory to the barge quay on the River Dee. Once loaded onto the barge it will then travel to Mostyn to be loaded onto a ship for the final journey to Toulouse.
