The Former Salford Royal Hospital Building

The former Salford Royal Hospital building occupies the corner of Chapel Street and Adelphi Street, opposite the junction with Oldfield Road. Once the city’s biggest hospital, it closed as a hospital in 1993 when Hope Hospital was enlarged and rebranded as the Salford Royal Hospital Trust. The building has since been converted into luxury apartments, although the exterior of the building has remained largely unchanged.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
