The O'Neill Road, Newtownabbey
The O’Neill Road (dating from the 1960’s and shown on the 1967 one-inch map) runs from the Antrim Road, Glengormley to the Doagh Road, Cloughfern. It acts as through pass road for that part of Newtownabbey. The widened Station Road is a de-facto continuation from the Doagh Road to the Shore Road.
