Former Gartnavel Hospital Chapel
The 1904 former hospital chapel was designed in the Arts and Crafts style by JJ Burnet. Following years of dereliction, it was restored and converted into a complementary therapy centre for cancer patients, known as the Calman Cancer Support Centre, run by the charity Cancer Support Scotland Link
, opening in June 2012.
The project to restore and convert the building was partly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund Link , with support from the Glasgow Buildings Preservation Trust Link .
It is a category B Listed building Link .
