Tilbury Town Station

Tilbury Town railway station opened on 15 June 1885 as part of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway. The station was originally called Tilbury Dock, but was renamed to Tilbury Town in December 1934. Passenger train services are provided by C2C.
The station is on the railway linking Pitsea and Barking via Grays and Rainham known as the Tilbury Loop. A bus link is also provided here for the Gravesend Ferry, replacing the rail link to Tilbury Riverside which was closed in 1992.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
