Loch Etive
Loch Etive (Gaelic: Loch Eite) is a sea loch which reaches Firth of Lorn and the open sea at Connel, 3 miles north of Oban. It measures 19 3⁄4 miles in length and it varies from 3⁄4 mile to 1 mile in width.
Loch Etive is considered by many to be one of the most attractive lochs in Scotland. It is surrounded by wild countryside climbing to some very distinctive mountains towering over the loch.
