L'Eroica Britannia :: Shared Description
Held for the first time in Britain, this is described as "an Italian-inspired weekend of vintage cycling that celebrates landscape, local customs, food and drink". The event took place at Bakewell Showground.
2000 cyclists took part, riding a 30 mile, 55 mile or 100 mile route around the Peak District. All entrants used pre 1987 bikes and clothing, some extremely fashionable.
