Les Gendarmes, Tour de France 2014
The Tour de France in Yorkshire was accompanied by a large number of police motorcyclists (and other police vehicles). The motorcyclists had evidently been drafted in from around the country, I spotted one from Worcestershire and another marked Heddlu, evidently from Wales.
There were also a substantial number of French Gendarmes on their motorbikes.
