Brewster Hill
A ruined farmhouse and buildings. According to Bill Cowley's book "Snilesworth" inhabited until the 1950s and now run combined with St. Agnes Farm further down the valley.
The farm is mentioned in a 17c manuscript,the Tancred Deed of 1625, as "two messuages called Brewster Hill Farms".
In the 1841 census it is recorded as occupied by James Sherwood, farmer, and in 1891 by Martin Farnaby, farmworker.
The ruins contain an unusual hexagonal outbuilding perhaps used for the storage of game.
