New Year 2015
For the last few years an impressive firework display has been held on the River Thames by the London Eye to celebrate the New Year.
Due to the overwhelming success of this attraction for the year 2014-2015 it was only possible to go to this event if you had a tickets, available on a non-profit basis for £10 to cover the administration etc.
I was fortunate to win a pair of tickets in a Capital FM competition. I arrived at shortly after 7 pm in order to get a prime viewing spot opposite the London Eye (having been lucky in that my ticket was for that area).
