Ships of Caledonian MacBrayne Limited
Caledonian MacBrayne Limited (CalMac) was formed in 1973 following the merger of the Caledonian Steam Packet Limited and David MacBrayne Limited. Ownership passed to the Secretary of State for Scotland in 1990 and is now vested with the Scottish Government.
CalMac operate passenger and vehicle ferries along the Clyde Coast and to (and between) the Outer Hebrides, Skye, Raasay and the Small Isles, the Inner Hebrides and the Southern Hebrides. Information on the companys services may be found: Link
