Glasgow bin lorry crash

On 22nd December 2014, six pedestrians were killed when an out of control Glasgow City Council bin lorry travelled up Queen Street and mounted the pavement. The dead included three members of the same family, spanning three generations.

In the following days people gathered at the two main accident sites (Royal Exchange Square and George Square) to lay floral tributes and to attend memorial vigils.

RIP
Jack and Lorraine Sweeney, Erin McQuade, Gillian Ewing, Stephenie Tait, and Jacqueline Morton.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
