Deptford Creek Footbridge

A swing bridge across the mouth of the tidal Deptford Creek close to its confluence with the RIver Thames. It was built with section 106 money and opened on 19 January 2015, allowing users of the Thames path to cross the creek without having to divert inland and walk alongside the busy main road.

See also Deptford Creek Bridge for the older road bridge upstream.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
