Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2015

Each summer a tea pavilion by an architect without a previous work in the U.K. is installed in front of the Serpentine Gallery. In 2015 selgascano (José Selgas and Lucia Cano) from Spain have designed a multi-coloured tent-like structure of steel tubes and a fluorine-based polymer fabric which is transparent and reflective; there is also a network of ribbons which delineate some of the entrances, apertures and corridors. The effect inside is a changing pattern of colours and shadow patterns.
