A vacant office building, built in the late 1980’s, at the Shaftesbury Square end of the Dublin Road. Vacant for some time, it was previously occupied by the Belfast branch of a national insurance brokerage.
The site has the following planning permission (15 April 2016) “LA04/2015/1175/F Construction of a purpose built managed student accommodation (8 storey block) consisting of 156 studio rooms, reception/management suite, common room space, bike and general storage area. Lands at 78-86 Dublin Road Belfast BT2 7BY”.
