Church of St Mary Magdalene, Sandringham
St Mary Magdalene Church is located just to the northwest of Sandringham Estate. It is used regularly as a place of worship by the Estate staff; Members of the British Royal Family attend services when in residence at Sandringham, which normally includes Christmas Link
. It has also been the site of many royal christenings, the most recent being that of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, baptised 5 July 2015.
The current building dates to the 16th century and was restored in 1855 and 1890. The church is dedicated to Mary Magdalene and is considered to be a noteworthy example of a carrstone building Link .
The church is Grade II* listed (English Heritage Building ID: 222155 Link ).
