Shadwell Basin :: Shared Description

Shadwell basin was built in 1828 1832 as part of the London docks. It was closed to shipping in 1969 and became derelict before redevelopment took place in 1987. Today it is surrounded on three sides by a housing development designed by architects MacCormac, Jamieson, Prichard and Wright, and is used for recreational purposes.

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images. For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
