B4100 Road (Birmingham)

The B4100 runs through central Birmingham, and like its namesake in Oxfordshire and rural Warwickshire consists of sections of the former A41 that have been downgraded. It runs from Camp Hill Circus (junction with A4540) along Camp Hill, High St Bordesley, High St Deritend, High St Digbeth, then around the Moat Lane/Digbeth gyratory. In the city centre it is the section of Park Street up to Moor Street, then Moor Street Queensway up to the Chapel Street/Jennens Road traffic lights. This last section is one way only.
There is then a discontinuity, and the B4100 reappears at the Snow Hill interchange, where it takes in Old Snow Hill heading northwest, Constitution Hill, Great Hampton Street and the Hockley Flyover. It then merges into the A41 which springs back into life to head through Handsworth towards West Bromwich.
Signage of this route number is quite sparse along its length.
