The Former Tring Livestock Market Site
The livestock market was established here by the Rothschilds more than 100 years ago, but as the size of the market decreased and auction house, Tring Market Auctions, developed on part of the site. After the livestock market closed the remaining area was cleared, as "The Market Place", and the old Auction office became Tring Local History Museum.
The Market Place was used by the Friday market between 2005 and 2015 and also by the Farmers Market, and is also used for special events.
