The Merchants' House on George Square

The Merchants' House is a Category A Listed building LinkExternal link on George Square at the corner of West George Street. It is home to Glasgow's Chamber of Commerce LinkExternal link .

It was designed as a three storey and basement building by John Burnet in 1874-8. Two storeys and an attic were added by J J Burnet in 1907-8.

The many detailed sculptures are by James Charles Young LinkExternal link .
