Whitley Bay Metro Station :: Shared Description
Railway station of 1910 on the Newcastle and Tynemouth Railway by William Bell for the North Eastern Railway Company. Grade II Listed. Nikolaus Pevsner later said of the building that it "lends some distinction to an undistinguished neighbourhood"
