Braidburn roadworks :: Shared Description

Scheduled to last a week, these roadworks were causing long delays on what is a very busy rat-run at both ends of the working day, especially in term time. At the best of times the mini-roundabout is not easy, with poor sight lines and parked cars in a residential area. Arguably, it is easier to negotiate with the 4-way light control - no element of excitement or Russian roulette of 'whose turn is it now' when a vehicle arrives from each direction at the same time.
