Lithic working site
This outcrop is oriented N-S, and measures 90 metres in that direction. It is located just 60 metres to the west of Lurg Moor Roman Forlet (see Link for details), but it dates from an earlier period, and has been identified as a site where stone was worked into tools by a process of chipping and flaking.
