The Plymouth Leviathan

A 33-foot sculpture by Brian Fell (LinkExternal link ) (see also Wilberforce House Museum Sculptures ), which was unveiled in 1996, seemingly amalgamated as many kind of sea creatures as it could, as part of an effort to represent the variety fish and shell fish landed on the Barbican. It has a cormorant’s feet, a plesiosaurus’s tail, the fin of a John Dory, a lobster’s claws and the head of an angler fish. Also known as The Plymouth Prawn.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
