Stockport Signalboxes :: Shared Description

Either end of Stockport Station are two Victorian signalboxes. No. 1 signalbox was built in 1884 and is located south of the station. No. 2 signalbox was built in 1870 and is north of the station, by the Mersey Viaduct. Both are still manual signalboxes.
