Aire Valley Marina, Redcote Lane, Leeds :: Shared Description

This offline cut was the coal landing wharf for the Kirkstall Power Station. Since the closure of the station in 1978 it has been used for moorings. There are 2 sunken coal barges, (which i think have some kind of protection order on them) of which the bow and stern can still be seen sticking out of the water
