One of the first stations built by Bristow when they got the 10-year contract to provide SAR services for the coastguard starting in 2015. Construction started in 2014, and the station opened in April 2015.
The aircraft are Sikorsky S-92 fitted with night vision, two hoists, and a sophisticated medical bay.
