Boughton Park, home of Worcester Golf & Country Club
Worcester Golf & Country Club, a private members club, dates from 1898. It is located at Boughton Park, in the St. John's district of Worcester. Boughton Park contains the club house and the golf course. The golf course was designed by Dr. Alister Mackenzie in 1927. He went on to design the Augusta Masters Course in the USA. Various social activities are held in the club house, which also has restaurant facilities. The only public access to Boughton Park is via a public footpath, which commences at Swinton Lane, and diagonally crosses the golf course. It then leaves Boughton Park and passes over two bridges before coming out at a public road outside the local cricket club near the village of Rushwick. All my photos in Boughton Park were taken from the public footpath.
