Royal Commonwealth Pool, Edinburgh

A modernist swimming pool and leisure facilities designed by Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall and Partners, 1967-1970, refurbished in 2009-2012, and A-listed in 1996. The building, designed for the Commonwealth Games held in Edinburgh in 1970, is an outstanding example of a late 20th century building, and it is one of the most successful designs of John Richards, partner from 1964 to ca 1990 in the internationally renowned and prolific practice of Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall and Partners. About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.
