Liverpool Street Underground Station :: Shared Description
Liverpool Street Underground station is served by the Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, and is the sixth-busiest on the London Underground network. In common with other tube stations serving Central London termini, it is in fare zone 1. The station opened in 1875 as Bishopsgate and was renamed in 1909.
