Clune Park Primary School

Designed by architect H & D Barclay, the school opened in 1887. The Category B Listed building LinkExternal link features roundels with busts of Victoria and Albert as well as an extract from the Port Glasgow Coat of Arms.

The school closed in 2008, at which time the pupils transferred to the new Newark Primary School, about a mile up the hill at Boglestone.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
