Shared description
March for Science
Arranged to coincide with Earth Day 2017, the 'March for Science' is the first stage of a global movement to defend the vital role science plays in our health, safety, economies, and governments. Over 600 have been organised worldwide, with six in the UK. The aim is to celebrate science, promote action for environmental protection, a call for support for the scientific community, and a protest against what is seen as a global political assault on facts.
