The B9153
The B9153 is a relatively short (2.8 miles) stretch of road between Kinveachy and Carrbridge. Its route was formerly that of the A9 before the latter was upgraded and rebuilt slightly to the west in the 1970s. Despite its history of having been a main trunk route, the B9153 is quite narrow and has few overtaking opportunities. The road runs through forestry and is characterised by a series of short straights punctuated by sharp turns which is typical of typical of Wade’s military roads Link
