The "Buddie" Mural on Storie Street :: Shared Description

A "Buddie" is a native of Paisley. This particular Buddie is Seven-year-old Eva Rose Ross, who won the competition to be commemorated in this large mural on the gable wall at Allanís Snack Bar on Storie Street.

The work is by local artist Caroline Gormley and co-artist Sandy Guy, the pair are also responsible for the Welcome To Paisley mural Link at Gilmour Street railway station, which contains a smaller version of the "Buddie" mural.

Several attractive murals are cropping up around Paisley town centre as part of the 2021 UK City of Culture bid LinkExternal link and supported by the Paisley First group LinkExternal link .
