Old School Place

The old Bonhill Primary School building that stood here was made of red sandstone. It was set on fire in September 2011, after it had already closed for good; what remained of it was later cleared away. By mid-2017, work had begun on a residential development, to consist of 44 dwellings, along with parking spaces and other amenities. NS3979 : Old School Place, Bonhill shows it complete. The new Bonhill Primary School building stands just across the road.
