Post Hill woods, Pudsey
Post Hill is now a nature reserve managed by Leeds City Council. It consists of a largely wooded hillside about a mile in length, sloping down to the Pudsey Beck. Within the woods are remains of various quarries which were worked until the early 20th century, and there are several tracks and footpaths. At the time of writing there was a public consultation on a proposal to upgrade the public footpaths within the reserve to bridleway status, in order to make legal the already de facto use of the woods for mountain biking.
