Geograph - photograph every grid square

The snowstorm from Siberia at the end of February/early March 2018 caused many travel problems. Edinburgh Airport was open on 28 February and the morning of 1 March, but it closed in the afternoon. Many airlines cancelled flights, however, including British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and Flybe, as well as others. Jet2 were still operating, and we were due to fly to Gran Canaria on the morning of 2 March. Most flights were still cancelled on the 2 March. We boarded our flight about on time at 1000, and departed at 1220. The only other departures during the morning were, as far as I know, to Dohar [Emirates] and Newark New Jersey [United]. During that time of waiting many aspects of an airport having a difficult time were observed. These are some of the images. Although jet2 were operating, the fact that we left over 2 hours late indicates what difficulties were being experienced, and how chaotic it could have been if some airlines had not cancelled flights.
