Glasgow Airport cycle route
The section through the airport car parks was upgraded as part of a wider scheme to modify the roads network in relation to the new drop-off & pick-up facility which opened in early 2017.
At the end of 2017, work commenced to improve the 1.5Km western section of the route which passes between the south end of the runway and Paisley Moss Nature Reserve. This section is now complete and the smooth tarmac surface is a welcome change from the previous dirt track which was often muddy.
