Dulwich Old Burial Ground

The Burial Ground was established by Edward Alleyn as an integral part of the foundation of his College of God's Gift. Alleyn had acquired the manor of Dulwich in 1605, and a chapel and burial ground were intended to benefit the inhabitants of the small hamlet. The burial ground was consecrated in 1616.

About shared descriptions

These Shared Descriptions are common to multiple images.

For example, you can create a generic description for an object shown in a photo, and reuse the description on all photos of the object. All descriptions are public and shared between contributors, i.e. you can reuse a description created by others, just as they can use yours.
